Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. Title

(a) This act shall be known, and may be cited as, “A Bill To Protect Drivers From Annoying Pedestrians

§2. Enactment

(a) This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon completing the processes constitutionally required.

§3. Severability

(a) Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

§4. Enforcement

(a) This Act shall be enforced by any relevant parties.

§5. Definitions

(a) A “driver” shall be defined as any user in Stapleton County actively operating a motorized vehicle.

§6. Effects

(a) Chapter 4, §25 shall be added to the criminal code and shall be titled “Insurance Fraud.”

(b) “Insurance Fraud” shall be classified as a Class A Misdemeanor.

(c) The charge shall carry a prison sentence of 300 seconds.

(d) Chapter 4, §25(a) shall be added to the criminal code and shall state: “The act of insurance fraud shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.”

(e) Chapter 4, §25(b) shall be added to the criminal code and shall state: “Any individual who purposefully and deliberately stands in front of, jumps on top of, or otherwise hinders a vehicle actively in motion, or prevents a vehicle actively being occupied by a driver from moving, in an attempt to get the driver to hit and injure the individual with their vehicle shall be guilty of insurance fraud.”

§7. Exceptions

(a) On-duty law enforcement officers blocking vehicles from moving in an effort to carry out their duties shall be exempt from this bill in its entirety.
