A Bill to Legalize Citizen’s Arrest
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: This bill shall grant State of Firestone Citizens the power to “Citizen’s Arrest”, should a felony occur.
SECTION 1B: Only State of Firestone Citizens shall have the authority to conduct Citizens Arrest, not tourists. Tourists, just like any other Citizen, can be subjected to a citizen’s arrest by another individual.
SECTION 1C: Citizens shall only be permitted to “Citizens Arrest” if that person has committed a felony. For instance, if another Citizen commits a felony hit and run, that citizen shall have the power to detain the suspect until law enforcement arrive. Upon arrival of law enforcement personnel, Citizens shall not conduct citizens arrest any longer.
SECTION 2: Citizen’s Arrest shall be defined as: an arrest by an Firestone citizen without a warrant, allowable in certain cases
SECTION 2B: State of Firestone Citizen shall be defined as: State of Firestone - Roblox, those who hold the rank of Middle Class Citizen or higher.
SECTION 2C: Tourist shall be defined as: State of Firestone - Roblox, those who hold the rank of Tourist or are not in the group.
SECTION 3: Conducting wrongful Citizens Arrest shall be considered a felony, with jail time up to 300 seconds.
SECTION 3A: Wrongful Citizens Arrest shall be defined as: the act of wrongfully conducting a citizen’s arrest on one without a felony occuring.
SECTION 4: The Firestone State Patrol (Firestone State Patrol - Roblox), The Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office (Stapleton County Sheriff's Office - Roblox), and the Department of Homeland Security (Firestone Department of Homeland Security - Roblox) shall be enforcing Citizens Arrest.
SECTION 4: This piece of legislation shall be in effect one hour upon the Governor signing.
SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
