A Bill to Fix Assault & Battery with regards to the Self Defence of Public Employees


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1A: The “Firestone Criminal Code” shall be defined as: Trello

SECTION 2A: Chapter 2, Section 6 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be amended.

SECTION 2B: Chapter 2, Section 6 of the Firestone Criminal Code currently states: "(a) The act of assault shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.

(a1) Assault shall be the act of attempting to willfully and maliciously making physical contact with another person without their consent."

SECTION 2C: Chapter 2, Section 6 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall now state: "(a) The act of assault shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.

(a1) Assault shall be the act of attempting to willfully and maliciously making physical contact with another person without their consent.

(a2) Subsection (a) shall not apply if the non-consentual physical contact was made through the use of tools legally used and provided by an Executive Department of the State of Firestone or Stapleton County, except for where departmental policies clearly forbid the use of physical contact in question."

SECTION 3A: Chapter 2, Section 6 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be amended.

SECTION 3B: Chapter 2, Section 8 of the Firestone Criminal Code currently states: "(a) The act of battery shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.

(a1) Battery shall be the act of willfully and maliciously touching another person without their consent"

SECTION 3C: Chapter 2, Section 8 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall now state: "(a) The act of battery shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.

(a1) Battery shall be the act of willfully and maliciously touching another person without their consent

(a2) Subsection (a) shall not apply if the non-consentual touching was made through the use of tools legally used and provided by an Executive Department of the State of Firestone or Stapleton County, except for where departmental policies clearly forbid the touching in question."

SECTION 4: Should any part of this act or bill be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect, unless all is struck down or declared unconstitutional.

SECTION 5: This bill shall go into effect as an act of congress upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.
