A Bill to Fix Arson

BE IT ENACTED BY THE FIRESTONE STATE LEGISLATURE THAT

PREAMBLE: To fix the wording of Arson.

SECTION 1. The Firestone Criminal Code shall be amended.

SECTION 2. Arson (as prescribed by Chapter 3, Section 1, Subsection a1) currently states: Arson shall be the act of setting fire to property without the owner’s consent- ownership of property as dictated by legislation.

SECTION 3: Arson (as prescribed by Chapter 3, Section 1, Subsection a1) shall now state: Arson shall be the act of intentionally setting fire to property, or maliciously setting fire to their own property, or with the intent to spread the fire to other property.

SECTION 4. This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passing both chambers and signed into law by the Governor.
