to Establish the Ratification of Inferior Governments


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE LEGISLATURE HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:


Sec. 1.

(a) This Bill may be cited as “A Bill to Establish the Ratification of Inferior Governments”.

Sec. 2.

(a) Henceforth, governments inferior to this government [state-level] must be ratified by the state legislature.

(b) Should an inferior government, such as a county-level government, wish to establish further inferior governments, their proposal shall be subject to the ratification of the state legislature through legislation centrally sponsored by one (1) Senator from the Senate and one (1) Representative from the House of Representatives.

(c) It shall be forbidden for any government that is inferior to this state government to establish any government that is subject to their jurisdiction without the consent of the state legislature.

(d) Any government in violation with this legislation shall be required to officially declare the inferior government(s) created defunct–including all ordinances, documents, and charters.

Sec. 3.

(a) Upon the passage of both houses–the Senate and House of Representatives–this Bill shall be presented to the Governor whereas it shall be signed or vetoed. If signed, this Bill shall be made law immediately.
