A Bill to Define Medical Malpractice
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: Medical Malpractice shall hereby be declared as a felony, and deemed illegal.
SECTION 2: Medical Malpractice shall be defined as practicing outside one’s scope of practice, and medically practicing without holding a valid certification or license either under the Firestone Fire Academy or Firestone Department of Health.
SECTION 2A: If while under the care of an emergency medical responder, a(the) patient(s) die(s) of improper care, then s/he shall be charged a felony.
SECTION 2B: It shall also be deemed malpractice in the event a civilian is not certified to practice medicine s/he shall be charged with a felony. Certifications which permit the practicing of medicine can be found on the Firestone Fire Academy trello board in SECTION 5.
SECTION 3: An emergency medical responder shall be defined as any person who posses a certification which was administered by the Firestone Fire Academy.
SECTION 4: Violators shall be imprisoned for no less than Five-hundred (500) seconds and no more than Seven-hundred fifty (750) seconds, based on officer discretion.
SECTION 5: All certifications to practice medicine within the State of Firestone can be found on the Firestone Fire Academy trello board
SECTION 6: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passing both chambers of Congress and the Governor signing it into a law.
SECTION 7: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
