A Bill to Correct the Justice Department Recognition Act

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1: The Justice Department Recognition Act of 2017 (hence referred to as the Justice Department Recognition Act) shall be defined as: Justice Department Recognition Act of 2017

Section 2: Section 2A of The Justice Department Recognition Act states: “The Firestone Department of Justice shall be the only ones to prosecute in criminal cases, as stated in C.III.V.”

Section 2A: Section 2A of The Justice Department Recognition Act shall be amended to state: “The Firestone Department of Justice shall be the only ones to prosecute in criminal cases, as stated in C.III.V. However, in any case in which it becomes necessary for the Attorney General to be prosecuted for a criminal offense, a special prosecutor shall be appointed by the Governor who shall be vested with the power to prosecute the criminal case against the Attorney General. The special prosecutor must be a lawyer. The special prosecutor shall not be considered to be employed by, or functioning under, the executive branch, but acting independently under the authority of his/her office. The special prosecutor may be removed via the normal impeachment process.”

Section 3: Section 3C of the Justice Department Recognition Act currently states: “The term “criminal case” shall be defined as: any case resulting in a penalty that involves jail time, restriction of activities, revocation of permits or certifications, or any other penalty deemed appropriate by the Chief Court Justice.”

Section 3A: Section 3C of the Justice Department Recognition Act shall be amended to state: “The term “criminal case” shall be defined as: a legal proceedings alleging a violation of criminal statute by the defendant.”

Section 4: Section 3D of the Justice Department Recognition Act currently states: “The term “civil case” shall be defined as: any case that may result in a penalty involving the transfer of in game cash from the defendant to the suing parties or any other penalty deemed appropriate by the Chief Court Justice.”

Section 4A: Section 3D of the Justice Department Recognition Act shall be amended to state: “The term “civil case” shall be defined as: a legal proceedings alleging a violation of civil statute by the defendant.”

Section 5: This act shall go into immediate effect upon being passed by both houses of Congress and signed into law by the Governor (or via veto override).

Section 6: The Department of Justice and the Governor shall be tasked with enforcing this act.
