A BILL
to Amend the “Justice Department Recognition Act of 2017”
PREAMBLE
In the act which established the Justice Department–a specific and relevant asset has fallen behind the power curve and it shall be amended. This bill shall have the sole purpose of amending the specific subsection.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SEC 1.
(a) The “Justice Department Recognition Act of 2017” shall be defined as: (Justice Department Recognition Act of 2017).
SEC. 2.
(a) Subsection “e” of Section 1 in the “Justice Department Recognition Act of 2017” currently states:
“e) The Deputy Attorney General shall serve under the Attorney General, and will be considered apart of the sub-cabinet. Any Employee of The Firestone Department of Justice, excluding the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General, shall be recognized as a secondary job.”
(b) Subsection “e” of Section 1 in the aforementioned bill shall be amended to state the following:
- “e) The Deputy Attorney General [the “DAG”] shall serve under the Attorney General, and will be considered a member of the sub-cabinet. The Deputy Attorney General will serve at the pleasure of the Attorney General and will hold the responsibilities and duties as established by the Attorney General. This position shall not require appointment by the Governor or confirmation by the Senate. Any position that holds any rank or responsibility in the Firestone Department of Justice, excluding the Attorney General, shall be recognized as a secondary job.”
SEC. 3.
(a) The Firestone Department of Justice, including the Attorney General, shall be responsible for the enforcement of this legislation.
SEC. 4.
(a) Upon the passage of this legislation by both the Senate, the House of Representatives, and subsequently being signed by the Governor, this bill shall be made law and go into effect immediately without any unwarranted delay.
