A BILL
TO
AMEND THE ELECTIONS ACT AND BOOST ELECTION SECURITY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,
§1. TITLE
- This act shall be known, and may be cited as “A BILL TO AMEND THE ELECTIONS ACT AND BOOST ELECTION SECURITY”.
§2. DEFINITIONS
§3. AMENDMENT
- Section IV (d) currently states: Should a candidate have an unexpunged, unpardoned, or otherwise unremoved felony arrest or conviction, the election sponsor must disqualify the candidate.
- Section IV (d) shall be amended to state: Should a candidate have an unexpunged, unpardoned, or otherwise unremoved felony arrest or conviction, or an outstanding arrest warrant for a felony offense issued, the election sponsor must disqualify the candidate.
§4. ENFORCEMENT
- This Act shall be enforced by all relevant parties.
§5. SEVERABILITY
- Should any part of this act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, the rest of the act will remain in effect unless also struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
