A Bill to Amend the Elections Act and Boost Election Security

A BILL

TO

AMEND THE ELECTIONS ACT AND BOOST ELECTION SECURITY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. TITLE

  1. This act shall be known, and may be cited as “A BILL TO AMEND THE ELECTIONS ACT AND BOOST ELECTION SECURITY”.

§2. DEFINITIONS

  1. The Elections Act shall be referred to here.
  2. The Firestone Courts shall be referred to here.

§3. AMENDMENT

  1. Section IV (d) currently states: Should a candidate have an unexpunged, unpardoned, or otherwise unremoved felony arrest or conviction, the election sponsor must disqualify the candidate.
  2. Section IV (d) shall be amended to state: Should a candidate have an unexpunged, unpardoned, or otherwise unremoved felony arrest or conviction, or an outstanding arrest warrant for a felony offense issued, the election sponsor must disqualify the candidate.

§4. ENFORCEMENT

  1. This Act shall be enforced by all relevant parties.

§5. SEVERABILITY

  1. Should any part of this act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, the rest of the act will remain in effect unless also struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
