A Bill to Amend Stalking Exemptions


         Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. STALKING

    (a) Chapter 2, Section 12, subsection a2 of the Firestone Criminal Code currently states, “Exceptions to this clause are present when an on-duty law enforcement officer has reasonable suspicion and is conducting an investigation or on-duty Department of Homeland Security is actively protecting/monitoring a government official”

    (b) Chapter 2, Section 12, subsection a2 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall state, “Exceptions to this clause are present when an on-duty law enforcement officer has reasonable suspicion and is conducting an investigation or on-duty Firestone State Patrol Executive Security Unit is actively protecting/monitoring a government official”

SECTION 2. ENACTMENT

    (a) Upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes, this legislation shall not enter into effect before December 1st, 2022.

SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY

    (a) Should any part of this legislation be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
