A Bill to Amend “Redefining POST Leadership Bill”
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1.
1A: Section 1 (A) of the “Redefining POST Leadership Bill” shall now state
Section 3(a) of the legislation “A Bill to Redefine Academies” shall now state:
The Firestone Peace Officer Standards and Training academy shall be managed by a Director, nominated by the Governor and confirmed of (with a simple majority) by the Senate. The position of POST Director is not apart of the Cabinet. The position of POST Director shall be considered a “primary” and “major” job; though should the holder of said position be employed in any law enforcement agency of Firestone, the position shall be temporarily considered a “secondary” job during such time. The position of “Deputy Director” shall be a Deputy Department Head making it secondary, while the position of “Head Instructor” shall be considered a non-real job and is not bound by employment regulations. The Governor shall retain the right to dismiss the POST Director, POST Deputy Director(s), and the POST Head Instructor(s) with a reason plausible.

SECTION 4: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passage.
SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
