A Bill to Amend Official Congressional Motions
PREAMBLE: The creation of this bill is to send it back to the Judicial Review Committee incase they missed something unconstitutional
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1.
(a) Official Congressional Motions currently states:
Terminology:Majority = 1/2 + 1
2/3 = two thirds of the House or Senate
Y = second required
N = second not requiredMotions:
To open the floor to debate (Y + majority) β skips reading of the legislation and opens the floor >to debate
To table a bill/amendment/resolution (Y + majority) β suspends consideration of a bill and is >placed on the tabled docket
To take a bill from the table (Y + majority) β reopens debate on legislation, after it has been >suspended
To call the previous question (Y + 2/3) β ends debate or questioning and begins vote
To recess (Y + majority) β time must be specified, i.e β10 minutesβ
To amend (Y + 2/3) β modifies a bill on the docket on spot, then is re-read; this is not the same >as βTo tableβ
To adjourn (Y + majority) β ends the session until next time
To limit or extend debate (Y + majority) β limits or extends debate time, must also specify time, i.e, βmotion to limit debate to 1 second.β must also specify whether each individual debates or the whole debate
To rise to a point of personal privilege (N) β make a personal request
To rise to a point of clarification (N) β state a fact regarding legislation
To rise to a point of information (N) β ask a question regarding legislation
To rise to a point of order (N) β query as to whether correct procedures are being followed
To reconsider a defeated motion (Y + 2/3) β redo a previously defeated motion
To reconsider a vote (Y + 2/3) β redo a vote previously made during the session
To eject (Y + 2/3) β remove an individual from the chamber floor not the presiding officer or a >member of the house of congress in session
To call the house (Y + 2/3) β compel the absence of all online members of the house in session not present within the chamber, this includes those online and not in-game
SECTION 2.
(a) Official Congressional Motions shall now state:

To send back to Judiciary Review Committee (Y + 2/3) β sends the bill back to the Judiciary Review Committee to review the bill

SECTION 3.
(a) The bill to Official Congressional Motions shall be defined as: >Official Congressional Motions
SECTION 4.
(a) The Governor of the State shall enforce this legislation.
SECTION 5.
(a) This article shall go into effective immediately after passage from both chambers and signed from the Governor
SECTION 6.
(a) All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
