A Bill to Amend "A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal"


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: Title, Effective Date, and Enforcement

A) This bill shall be known as "A Bill to Amend "A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal’"

B) This amendment shall become effective immediately upon passage from both chambers of the Congress and signed by the Governor.

C) Any person with the ability to arrest is permitted to execute this bill.

SECTION 2: Definitions

A) “A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal” shall be defined as; A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal

SECTION 3: Amendments

A) Section 2B of “A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal” currently states;

It shall be unlawful for a person to accidentally, not willfully, cause damage, or destroy, to the property of another or the government.

B) Section 2B of “A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal” shall now state;

It shall be unlawful for a person to accidentally, not willfully, cause damage, or destroy, to the property of another or the government. Such action shall be known as “Unwillfully causing damage.”

C) Section 5 of “A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal” currently states;

Section 5: Results from Illegalities

A) Actions in violation of section 3 of this act shall be regarded as arrestable, chargeable in the court of law, a felony (only in the case of a violation of subsection A of section 3 of this act), and a misdemeanor (only in the case of a violation of subsection B of section 3 of this act).

B) Felonious violations of this act, as defined by subsection A of this section, shall result in the seizure of the person by a Law Enforcement Officer for a maximum of 900 seconds within the Prison along with, or in lue of, a citation being issued to the offender for no less than the amount of damage perpetrated by the offender plus six hundred dollars ($600).

C) Misdemeanor violations of this act, as defined by subsection A of this section, shall result in issuance of a citation to the offender for no less than the amount of damage perpetrated by the offender.

D) This section shall not be constructed to limited in any way the Judiciary from assigning more or less time in prison for a violation of this law. It shall also not be constructed to limit the judiciary from just utilizing prison terms for violations of this act.

D) Section 5 of “A Bill to Make Damage to Government Property Illegal” shall now state;

Section 5: Results from Illegalities;

A) Any person who is found in guilty of willfully causing damage (as defined in Section 2A of this bill) shall have the penalty of a citation of 100 (one-hundred) dollars in addition to the amount of damage that was done in their first offense, a citation of 200 (two-hundred) dollars in addition to the amount of damage that was done in their second offense, and a citation of 300 (three-hundred) dollars in addition to the amount of damage that was done in their third and further offenses.

B) Any person who is found in guilty of unwillingly causing damage shall have the penalty of a citation of 50 (fifty) dollars in addition to the amount of damage that was done.

C) This section shall not be constructed to limited in any way the Judiciary from assigning more or less time in prison for a violation of this law. It shall also not be constructed to limit the judiciary from just utilizing prison terms for violations of this act.
