A Bill to Adjust Ambassadors

A BILL
to Adjust Ambassadors, and amend the employment regulations that are set for said position

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. AMENDMENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE ESTABLISHMENT ACT

(a) The “Department of State Establishment Act” shall be amended, found here:

(b) Section 4(a) of the “Department of State Establishment Act” shall now state:
The State of Firestone may send an ambassador to any other Ro-Nation or foreign entity. The amount of ambassadors sent to any other Ro-Nation or foreign entity is unlimited. These ambassadors shall be responsible for representing the State of Firestone in the designated Ro-Nation or foreign entity, and must follow all orders given by the Secretary of State and/or the Governor, where the Governor’s orders shall take priority. All ambassadors must be nominated by the Governor and confirmed of, with a simple majority, by the Senate; though should the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, or Secretary of State be appointed as an ambassador, they shall not require such confirmation by the Senate. The Secretary of State may recommend possible ambassadors to the Governor, however only the Governor shall nominate an ambassador and only the Senate shall confirm said nominee, with the previously said exception. The position of ambassador is a “primary” and “major” job; though should a holder be the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, or Secretary of State, said individual shall be immune from the position of ambassador being “primary” and “major” to them.

SECTION 2. This legislation shall go into effect immediately.

SECTION 3. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
