2025-1 | Firestone Gubernatorial Election

Elections Guidelines

To run in the Firestone Gubernatorial Election, you must:

  • Be a Firestone Citizen.
  • Have a clean criminal history.
    • No more than 3 citations.
    • No arrests.
  • Have no serious moderation actions against you.
    • If you are currently banned from Discord, or the game, you cannot run.
  • Post on the forums your letter of intent, which should include your views and stances.
    • Your Letter of Intent MUST be posted before the below due date.
  • Have a Lt. Governor (running partner) already setup to run with you.
  • Candidates are encouraged to attend voice chat debates hosted by Firestone news outlets.
    • Firestone News outlets will reach out to candidates to set these up. If you decide not to go to one, or simply can’t go to one, then your competition could get the full stage to themselves to gain supporters!

VOTING:
To vote, you must be a Firestone Citizen. You will vote in a polling station within Stapleton County. Whoever has the most votes, is elected into office. All votes will be ran through a bot to ensure no duplicate votes, and no alternate account interference.

DATES:

Campaigning opens - 2024-12-14T07:00:00Z
Letter of Intent is DUE - 2025-01-04T07:00:00Z

Voting will be from - 2025-01-18T07:00:00Z→2025-01-26T07:00:00Z

The election winner will be announced 2025-01-27T01:00:00Z
(Time subject to change)

THE 2025-1 TERM WILL BE FROM:

2025-01-26T07:00:00Z→2025-05-25T06:00:00Z
