PREAMBLE: To protect an individual’s finances.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION I: The Financial Seizure Accountability (FSA) Act shall hereby be established.
SECTION II: Any Law Enforcement Officers within the State of Firestone of any lawfully recognized law enforcement agency shall, when issuing any form of citation to an individual, be limited only to seizing a maximum amount of 1000 firestone currency from an individual in a singular encounter.
SECTION IIA: A singular encounter shall be viewed as the moment of time from which an law enforcement officer and any of those involved in assisting said officer has seen unlawful conduct to the action taken as a direct result of such conduct.
SECTION III: Any violation of Section II by any Law Enforcement Officer shall be seen as an unlawful abuse of their office.
SECTION IV: Should any portion of this law be constructed to be “unconstitutional” and thus, ordered to cease to be in effectivity then that part shall be severed from the remaining parts of this law - who shall continue to remain in full force and effect.
SECTION V: This shall go into effect immediately upon passing the required constitutional process.
