So recently, the FS developers had made 2 updates that I personally think will turn v2 Into a lagfest. If you’re wondering what these updates are: made the server maximum 55 players and added a lighting update. I’d need to get a new PC in order to operate smoothly in v2. What are your thoughts on this?

Lighting wont create server lag… It’s local as you wont see the different when your graphics are below 4… Don’t worry.
55 Players isn’t BAD, if people are spread out, you might have a potato PC :eek:

I give my moment of silence to my computer, who died had 5 FPS.
I have 1050 TI and 60 FPS, the only reason that people lag in v2 is because most of the scripts are useless

What’s he saying is.
the code in the scripts need to be cleaned, we need to lower the lines of code, so we can get better gameplay. which is what jailbreak did.
that means if you had 62k lines of code, if you cleaned it and made it shorter but works the same, you could at least go down to 32k lines of code if possible if I am correct.

Roblox is deprecating legacy lighting therefore this update was bound to happen one day or another.

I like the new lighting, and larger servers are way more action packed since there are more public servants and civilians. Only thing I’m a bit concerned about is how the new lighting hurts our eyes. The flares make us look as red as the Kool-Aid man and the floodlights and spotlights on a Law Enforcement vehicle completely turns the suspect’s vehicle in a HRS into an eye-raping device. Otherwise, I liked the update so far.
