Here’s the math for a 72 hour sentence, if you are curious.
1 soup = $1 and 15 second reduction in prison
72 hours = 259200 seconds
30 seconds to make 1 soup
maximum amount of soup you can make: 259200/30 = 8640 bowls of soup
8640 bowls of soup = $8640 profit
8640 soup * 15sec = 129600 seconds loss
259200 - 129600 = 129600
129600 seconds = 36 hours
a 72 hour sentenced prisoner would only serve 36 true hours in prison, granted he cooks continously and would make $8640 profit

With this in mind, keep the maximum 72 hour sentence or no?

I only agree with the max of 72 hours if it is given out on rare occasion where they’re serving time for multiple felonies (e.g. 15+ counts). Shouldn’t be given out regularly.

let me do the math for 48 hours in comparison
please note that i have not passed the 1st grade so i can not do put togethers and take aways, so it is likely my math will be wrong.
1 soup = $1 and -15 seconds
48 hours = 172800
30 seconds = 1 soup made
max amount of soup u can make 172800/30 = 5760 bowls of soup
$5760 are made in profit due to soup
5760 * 15sec = 86400
172800 - 86400 = 86400
86400 seconds = 24 hours.
a 48 hour sentenced prisoner would only serve 24 true hours in prison, granted he cooks continuously, and would make a $5760 in profit
essentially, soups cut down half of your prison time. thus, the max sentence if 72 hours should be interpreted to be ~40 hours (factoring in the fact that nobody would be perfect at clicking the soup making button on time). 48 hours should be interpreted as ~25 hours (same thing), and 24 hours should be interpreted as ~13 hours.
so, with this in mind, i think a sentence of around 50 hours is probably the best.

Cooking Roblox soup for 36 hours yippeee
Still can’t support 72. I agree with the idea OVG proposed.

yall act like the courts give out 72 hours like candy
there’s been less than 10 instances of 72 hours being given out as a sentence in roughly 3 years since the first 72 hour sentence was handed out

But doc has to let you cook and no offense but they are on lockdown 24/7.

I only know of 3- one of which was completely valid as the person was trying to get 72 hours, one which was overturned in the Supreme Court for being cruel, and one that could easily be overturned if the person appealed. 72 hours is- like- never used. The maximum time just serves as a proportional gauge for lower times.

ok, bit of a tangent, but realistically if you wanted to make a REAL good soup you’d need about a day and a half
i mean, 72 hours is overkill but 36 hours for a real good soup sounds good
also still 72 hours is a heckuva long time to spend on a roblox game, and 36 hours is a crapton of time for making lego soup.

you should not be expected to use an autoclicker to play the game
72 hours in jail is completely unfair idk how anyone can think its ok to sentence someone to 72 hours in a virtual prison for committing a pretend crime online

@iLordOfAviation This is why we can’t have realism in game

I support a time in the mid-forties (43/44 hours) as its around the average time agreed upon in multiple state polls on the matter.
(one poll [about 100 respondents] had an average response of 42.60 hours;
another poll [about 80 respondents] had an average response of 45.36 hours)
HOWEVER, I would much prefer a system such as this one outlined by the Honorable Judge DannyboyLaw.

We can have realism in a game, in real life a felon is locked up for half of their life or their whole life but for example if you murder someone in real life they die forever but in ROBLOX if I killed a LEO he/she would respawn in 2-3 seconds and the murderer gets 20+ hours in game
