SCSO is not qualified to be the number one policing department for many reasons, the main one being poor leadership. Within every month at least 2 sheriffs are normally in and out. They simply because of this do not have the capacity to function as a proper department. Because of that they do not have proper training nor officers plus the county council and county government as a whole is screwing the departments only chances of becoming successful up by doing idiotic things.

Sorry, but DHS will always be the most organized, well rounded, well managed, and arguably, the most important department.
