Remove LOVID template for arrests

This prolongs the process of making the arrest. Rather than being about to type it all in one go, you must click each spot individually, which takes longer to make arrests. Furthermore, they also takes up more of your screen, which cuts the view you have around you.

Put “Location, Offense, Venue, Identification, Date/Time” in the background when making arrest, before you click it. Though ultimately, LEOs and their departments should hold their employees accountable. If they don’t use LOVID, remove their privilege to make arrests/citations.

yeah go back to the old system but make it so if you click off you can click back on it and it won’t delete all your text that you wrote

Eh. To be honest, I can see where this could be useful. Maybe it just needs to be improved so you don’t have to click each spot individually.

Or input all the crimes that are arrestable for into GUI and have it put in date time and name on its own.

There are over 50 crimes in our law books. The list for that would take the whole screen. And secondly that means the devs would need to update the game every time a new law came out, which they wouldn’t do.

LOVID is a good tool, I don’t see any reason as to why it should be removed. Is the new system helpful? Yes and no, on one side it prevents false arrests and inaccurate arrest reports, on the other hand it might take longer for a few Officers to fill it and it obstructs vision.

With that said, I don’t think it’s such a problem that it needs to be removed.

I concur with @LordFrancisSmith. It could be fixed up a bit where you wouldn’t have to click on each slot and make it so it would take less time to fill it out, but I don’t think it should be removed.

Well, if you like being instantly fired I agree with you. Because believe me, firing someone and removing their POST cert is always fun. What you, the ignoramous, fail to understand is that LOVID helps both you and the Courts in False Arrest Cases. It doesn’t bother us at all to send your ass back to applicant, it really doesn’t. And with our new Court Orders amendment it’s great, takes like three minutes! Because we don’t take kindly to those convicted of FA. Judges will either instantly fire you, or impose some long ass (like two or three weeks) suspension upon conviction. So yeah, feel free to not use it man. It’s your downfall.

@Sharm500 When I have an expungement or other case involving an arrest come before me almost the first thing I look at is the LOVID as it lists why the person was arrested, when the arrest occurred, where the arrest occurred, etc (as such the information is almost invaluable). Additionally, it is that LOVID that usually gets an arrest removed or someone convicted of FA.

You don’t like it because you have to work more complete your arrests? Wow didn’t know everyone was this lazy.

This is the guy that said that POST > Supreme Court rulings… LMAO

I also agree with @1superchris2 because if there is an arrest that says the location happened at Capital, then the arrest actually happened at CD for no reason. Thats why LOVID is important. But sad to say that @SouthernMorales is to lazy to even do it.

Tbh Southern, If you’re making this kind of fourm, Just get out of Firestone Law Enforcement agencies.
