Nah nothing is coded to “not damage at a certain range.” The other day I was in sewers chasing after some crim and mag dumped him, hitting 98% of my shots, to which of course he didn’t die. Then he sprays me while I’m reloading and I die. Great game.

You’re missing the point. The whole point of this post is not aim coping, but actually hitting shots to which the damage doesn’t register. I’m sure to some extent crims experience this too.

This might have been ping (you with 500 ms and the criminal with 50 for example, which is something that is u fortunate and will always exist

there is, as expected every gun has a certain range, e.g a uzi will loose range if u shoot from rogreens to bloxy creme, but, u still still get hitmarkers on the person you hit, but they just wont take damage

this goes for all weapons: you will know if you are shooting something too far/out of range if there no gun tracers, and only particles.

Yea, idk how to explain this but the hit marker sound is useless if my shots keep missing…

most, if not all, weapons dont damage after 600 studs - but thats down to the raycast being limited to that range.
