If someone gets their records completely expunged, they are no longer recognized as a criminal by the state. We have a system involving the courts to remove these records so it’s not like they just sign a paper and all disappears easily. Now sure in some cases they are expunged pretty easily if they are old crimes but as every person prior has said, this is just a game. We shouldn’t be dictating someones fun on a game for something that happened 6 months ago.

Stop calling them criminals if it’s not on their record, especially if you can see they are working to become a better law abiding citizen.

Do I count as a criminal?

Do you have anything on your record to show it?

smh Crimials get heavily shitted on, Like Sam is actually trying to change…

Bias is always a there even if you arent a criminal

U can just kill the POST Director one day and the next week after your record is expugned, he can just say “no” and destroy ur goal to become a LEO

3 words… cops and robbers

Yes, the game generally surrounds of about cops and robbers, but there are other public employees positions that aren’t necessarily peace officers. Examples include Public Works, Transportation, Fire Department and other lesser departments that are more of paperwork. There really isn’t a “criminal” job except for bank robberies, but then again there still are alternatives to than just cops and robbers.

let’s be honest, development side of things went towards law enforcement, and with the strict policies forced over criminals the limitations they do are restricted.

For example flipping, it really isnt fair because cops abuse this feature and do not abide by the, “if you flip you must back out at least 5-10 seconds”

On the criminal side if things, you get instantly cuffrushed and Leo’s are quick to file in for a ban on you.

Also, there should be a program for those wishing to get back into the right path into a career

Law Enforcement officers go through “extensive” training to achieve their title, thus often times accusations like these don’t swing by as much. However, if you do have solid evidence, the game moderation team can and will take action upon said law enforcement officers. So, I would advise you to record such instances and send them over.

All bans require proof and approval from myself or fly10101 (sometimes pathwaysbball and FedoraMasterB98 whenever they so desire). If there is solid evidence for such, nothing I can do about it.

Yeah people should get second chances and the past shouldn’t affect them.

Past is the past, move on.

I agree with this Statement. The hatred needs to stop, so does referring to someones past. What matter’s is the present.

why dont we go back to rockport style where u can commit crimes off duty without it effecting ur jobs!?

more fun for everyone!

If only there was more development for commerce businesses… that would give people more capability to show that they can change.

Normally past felons don’t jump right into LEO after they did crimes, they start at McDonalds then work up.

k_rev isn’t the most intelligent person in the community.

Regardless, I actually agree with you. I believe it would greatly help the community and my dear POST if a path of redemption for criminals was much easier.

More LEO’s. More POST enrollment. Everyone is happy

i wanna stay a criminal, so idrc about this…but

communities where you can just be whatever are the best (to an extent)

if your trained, you roleplay, you went through the academy, did your department training, put in effort you should be able to switch between criminal, citizen, and whatever job you hold…i know its not the same concept but take gta5 communities like dojrp where you can switch between criminal, civ, and officer and just create different personas, i feel if this was actually Incorporated into firestone it would remove this issue completely, and make the community more fun…idk just me

Definitely agree. I think many leos get tired of doing leo work and want to see the other side of things. This would keep players engaged for a longer time, without the fear of not being able to join a department again because they have a record.

Besides, if trained LEOs could roleplay as criminals, man the crime roleplay/ability would be so much better. Imagine a SWAT Operative as a criminal, roleplaying and actually having good aim. There isn’t a new life rule, so why not implement PERSONAS?
