Possession or Usage of Burglary Tools Emergency Amendment


         Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,


SECTION 1 - SEVERABILITY & ENACTMENT

(a) Should any part of this act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

(b) Upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes, this Act shall enter into effect immediately.

SECTION 2 - CRIMINAL CODE AMENDMENT

(a) Chapter 4, section 24, subsection c of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be created and shall state: “(c) Government employees shall not be charged with this section for performing any action prescribed in (b1) or (b2) while on a state property that is controlled by a government authority that they are actively on duty for and shall not be charged with this section for performing any action prescribed in (b3) if the possessed item is capable of opening or accessing a state property that is controlled by a government authority that they are actively on duty for.”

(b) Chapter 4, section 24 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be retitled to “§24 - Possessing or Using Burglary Tools”.
