I think we can all agree that we criminals play Firestone more than anyone (mainly me Philip).

Criminals, and let me explain why.
This entire state is based off of criminals.
Here is a flow chart of if there was theoretically no criminals.
No Criminals --> No Need for Police --> No Need For Government to Regulate Police and Create Laws --> Economy crippled due to barely any jobs --> No need for developers due to no purpose of work --> No need for the group --> No need for the game.
Our government and our police only exist to serve because of criminals. No criminals, no need for police, no need for government. Governments serve to protect and regulate citizens; there is no need for a Government if everyone is protected because there is no threat.
Thus, the “Law-abiding citizens without a job” are literally doing nothing but giving criminals a purpose. Criminals need people or other criminals to pray on, otherwise they serve no purpose to provide purposes to others.
Case in point, we should embrace criminals; In-fact, we should fund them. If we gave them more resources we could have more fun and probably have better roleplay experiences. Our current criminals do every measure they can to make money; they disregard the roleplay experience for the most part.
Funding them could help promote them to give people better RPs.

patchy calm down. it isn’t like a gang will declare civil war and try to take over the state while they are fighting crt, swat, and fng.
sure they do something and have some purpose and I agree with patchy. but we shouldn’t fund them

that’s never going to happen, gangs are failures, they die out in a month. criminals are useful but we cannot fund them at all.

Let’s be honest, no criminal wants to take over Firestone, unless your a idiot by the name norlex who lives in another reality. ANYWAY, we really need funding but what you could do is lower some stuff like, lower jail sentences or not give out 1k fines for having a illegal gun.

Cops complain about having trollers who fling their car, and ram into them and attention seek. But when you have legitimate criminals they get long jail sentences and stuff which causes them to lose interest in game so they don’t play

In 1984, their government continued via the basis of slow war. They fought each others countries with very little progress; and changed their enemy frequently. The governments knew slow war would be better than nuking each other to death.
I could see the same happening with Firestone. The Government could continue with the basis of Gang Activity. All the government would have to do is fund gangs and then when they believe they are a true threat; cut funding. Rinse and repeat; you have a master plan to continue one’s election, create better roleplay experiences, and lobby for various laws. Maybe even fund multiple gangs at once to have some street wars.
If you create and control the criminals, you own the government. It’s basically how it is.
Since there is no point in a government if they serve no purpose.

They aren’t “failures” it’s like a hill. It starts at the bottom and rises when it’s fun and stuff. Then it gets old and we just let it go down and then just leave

Criminals are obviously important but 99% of them FRP and just drive around in their SRTs, shoot up CD a bit, and attention seek LEOs. It’s not fun, it’s repetitive.
Mainly this is due to the lack of technology v2 has for criminals, giving them very little opportunity (bank robberies were a good addition but it has to be expanded). The RP rules are also harsh in some places and absent in others (no FearRP, NLR isn’t a thing). It all boils down to the fact that Fed wants Firestone to be a cop-based group and doesn’t want to give criminals more options (although I still don’t like criminals).
If you want to be a criminal with many options, go to Mayflower. The reality is that this is a cop and government-based group.
