please change back to the old flag, the old one is significant and nostalgic - don’t get me wrong the new one looks alright but the old one is better.

new flag sucks
well, the flag has been altered a few times. we’ve had:
the original v1 flag (2016)
the v2 flag (2017)
the hd v2 flag (2020)
the newest one (2022)
no it looked the same since 2016 in my eyes
we should just keep the old one until v3 (as should departments)
First I didn’t care but now I see it looks absolutely awful, like some kind of dictatorship. There’s also way too much detail. I always liked the simplicity and recognizability of the old flag…
There were better options that maintained the historic and notable features of the original flag, while giving it a modern improvement.
But fed just had to say no.

When a new person looks at it they get so confused, the castle? Nobody knows what that is, at least it got the Sky Bridge going for it. Flags should be easily recognizable, if that was flying I should very clearly tell what it is, like the last flag with the big “FS”. Here I literally had to study the flag for a minute when it first came out to even understand it. Plus the variations are confusing, black flag is the discord banner, but red is the logo? Which one is it? I don’t see the US or any other nation for a fact having several flags of different colors.

Honestly dev’s should have done what the state of alaska did when coming up with the flag and made it a competition to see who could make the best flag out of the community instead of paying one guy way too much for something as ugly as we got
