National Guard Deployment Amendment 2023


         Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. DEFINITIONS

    (a) The “National Guard Act of 2022” shall be defined as: National Guard Act of 2022.

SECTION 2. AMENDMENT

    (a) Subsection (a)(i) of Section 14 of the National Guard Act of 2022 currently states nothing, as it does not exist, but shall be created and amended to state: “Said deployment may be extended for up to 72 hours, with a super majority consent of the Senate.”

SECTION 3. ENACTMENT

    (a) This act shall go into effect upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.

SECTION 4. SEVERABILITY

    (a) Should any part of this legislation be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
