It is no secret that SCFD is able to carry a firearm on-duty. This is due to the fact that people join the county for the sole purpose of targetting unarmed departments. However, the cost of a legal firearm in the county is extremely expensive. It costs a lot for a firefighter/paramedic to purchase a firearm everytime they must respawn. I suggest that the price of firearms for unarmed depts be dropped. We are not reimburesed, and the money comes out of our own paycheck.

I love the idea, as Ex-SCFD.
I always wanted a gun… But didn’t want to spend all of my shift’s wages on it! This would be a great idea for those who dont wanna use OC, nor a K12 for self defense. (Even though a K12 works really well, you should try it!)
Basically, a %50 discount or more would be good for SCFD.
But, I am sure similar ideas, ect, ect have suggested this before and it has been rejected by the devs…

you guys act like the developers can do this stuff so quickly and easily… this is unneccessary. if SCFD wants protection, they need to cough up the cash or just OC to defend themselves as the OC is probably the best weapon in the game
