Now I know that this was archived, but I want to know how law enforcement or the other developers themselves feel about this suggestions, despite it being most likely a time-consuming process.
“Whenever the horn of a law enforcement vehicle is activated, which may exclude the DHS tahoe, an array of white would appear on the lightbar which replaces the takedown and alerts the vehicles from behind as they either look back or see the light within the darkness of night.”
I added this from the trello. Thoughts?

seems like a cool idea. fyi: im pretty sure there is going to be a new lightbar within the next couple of updates.

What if the EMS lighting isn’t activated…would the bar not light up?

The request alone is what I want the developers to work with, in the end it’s up to them to decide which vehicles have this feature. And how the feature functions.

right, this is my third time seeing this suggestion but that’s ok
it’s nothing I’m planning on doing (unnecessary, extra work, might get annoying, maybe extra render lag, might be abused), but if fed sees it and likes it then it might happen

I’m not against it, its really a matter of, is it necessary, is it easy to script, and is it going to be extra unneeded code/lag issues? Otherwise it is a cool idea, I’ve seen a video on it before.

For the sake of lag and legwork, this can be added another time when it’s absolutely easy and necessary. Other than that, I’ll have this thread marked as “solved.” The vehicles and other elements of the County are dynamic throughout time, and I’ll allow other development opportunities to settle in.
