LONG GUNS CAN ONLY BE STORED IN HOUSE, VEHICLE, AND BACKPACK INVENTORY, and would be VISIBLE (slinging gun) in your back if you are storing with backpack inventory
Hand guns, however would be able to be stored in your pocket inventory and would not be visible as its small enough to be hidden.
GUN DROPPING MECHANICS
Guns would be able to be dropped by the civillian and visitor team ONLY. Guns would be droppable both voluntaraly, and on death.
GUN FINDING
Firstly, to improve realism. The illegal gun dealer should be removed. I already suggested this in another thread, however this thread will provide more ways to get illicit weapons as a replacement instead of the illegal gun dealer, as in the other thread I only suggested one way to get illegal guns.
ROBBERY OF A WEAPONS STORE
There should be a way to get illicit weapons by robbing a store such as paths guns.
REQUIREMENTS TO ROB PATHS GUNS:
Must be 5+ troopers, or deputies or DHS:CRT onduty. DHS:FPS, DHS:SS and all other non law enforcement departments would not count
Must be atleast 25 people in the server at the time of robbery
Must be NIGHT TIME when paths is closed (Devs have to add closing of paths guns at night)
Stolen paths guns keys, or a lockpick should be added.
HOW TO ROB A WEAPONS STORE
Firstly, you would have to enter the store using a lockpick that should be buyable using a NPC lockpicke dealer and you would then select (TRIGGER A ROBBERY). Once the robbery is triggered law enforcement would be notified by either a automated 911 call or by a automated radio transmission. You would then be equipped with a bag and you would have 5 minutes to get as many weapons as possible. Your bag would be able to fit 2 long guns and 4 little guns. You would not be able to leave the store until your 5 minutes are up. This rule would be made in order to provide a fair chance for law enforcement to get in the scene. In order to combat against law enforcement, you would use one of your weapons to shoot officers in an attempt to get away and use a getaway car to drive off.
ROBBERY OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER STATION
Requirements to rob a Law Enforcement Officer Station
Must be 4+ Trooper, Agent / Officer, or Deputy from that station on (ex: to rob DHS station weapons there must be 4+ CRT Agents/SS Agents/FPS Officers)
Must have a lockpick buyable from a NPC dealer.
Must be 25+ people in the server at the time.
HOW TO ROB A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER STATION
First, you would have to use the lockpick to get through the door. Once you got through the door officers would be alerted that you are there, either by the 911 system through a automated message or a automated radio transmission. You would then have a bag and you would be able to steal police grade weapons. (Depending on station, there would be different weapons) You would then have 5 minutes to steal up to 2 maximum long guns and 4 handguns from the station. You would have to wait 5 minutes in order to leave the station. (in order to have a fair chance at officers coming to the scene). You would have to use one of the weapons you stole and your car in order to get away from officers at the scene.
ROBBERY OF A NATIONAL GUARDSMAN STATION
REQUIREMENTS:
Up to 5+ National Guardsman onduty at the time of robbery
Up to 25+ people in the server
HOW TO ROB A NATIONAL GUARD STATION
This would be the hardest and most impossible robbery to do, and would be rare to come out alive from this>
You would have to first breach in the national guard station (most likley on foot as you cant get in with a car without nat. guard allowing you in)
Since you are now on foot, you would have 5+ national guardsmen attacking you with weapons. You would have to run to their armory and go inside to begin the robbery
WHEN INSIDE ARMORY
You would have 5 minutes to rob the armory, and would have a bag with you to rob the weapons in there. You must wait 5 minutes before you can leave. Once you exit the armory, you would have to fight 5+ Guardsman in order to leave the NG station with the weapons, and then successfuly evade officers.
PURCHASING A FIREARM FROM A REAL CHARACTER
Dropping of weapons should be added to do this, and this should be made illegal with congress (purchasing an illegal firearm is illegal, but not selling)
GUN BEING DROPPED ON DEATH BY A REAL CHARACTER
Guns being dropped on death by a character is another way that guns should be able to be recieved. Both legal and illicit guns should be droppable.
(A law would have to be made by congress to make this illegal, evidence tampering a crime however evidence tampering only pertains to documents or records of a crime)
