Foreign Leader Influence Prevention Act of 2018
A bill to prevent the influence of a foreign state, or its rulers, officers, or representatives on the State of Firestone party system and the state government.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress Assembled,
SECTION I. SHORT TITLE; GENERAL PROVISIONS.

Short Title. — This Act may be cited as the “Foreign Leader Influence Prevention Act of 2018”.

Severability. — This Act shall be severable, such that if any word, phrase, line, sentence, or provision of this Act, or the application of any of them to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, their application to other persons or circumstances, and the remainder of this Act shall not be affected thereby. Any newer law shall not supersede this Act unless that law specifically declares its intent to supersede this Act’s provisions.

Effective Date. — This Act shall go into effect immediately following enactment.

Definitions. —

Foreign leader shall refer to an individual holding an office of trust or importance in a foreign country.

Civil office shall refer to an office of trust or importance in the State of Firestone.
SECTION II. FOREIGN CIVIL OFFICES DEFINED

The following offices in the monarchy​ of foreign countries shall be declared foreign civil offices throughout the State of Firestone;

or any reasonable equivalent;
1. Emperor/Empress;
2. King/Queen;
3. Prince/Princess;
4. Duke/Duchess;
5. Marquess/Marchioness;
6. Earl/Countess;
7. Viscount/Viscountess;
8. Baron/Baroness.

The following offices in the governmental branch​ of foreign countries shall be declared foreign civil offices throughout the State of Firestone;

or any reasonable equivalent;
1. President;
2. Vice President;
3. Governor General;
4. Prime Minister;
5. Deputy Prime Minister;
6. Cabinet Ministers;
7. Deputy Cabinet Ministers;
8. Department Directors;
9. Chief of Military/Defense.

The following offices in the parliamentary branch​ of foreign countries shall be declared foreign civil offices throughout the State of Firestone;

or any reasonable equivalent;
1. Speaker of the Parliament;
2. Leader of any political party;
3. Member of Parliament.

The following offices in the judiciary branch​ of foreign countries shall be declared foreign civil offices throughout the State of Firestone;

1. Chief of the Supreme Court
2. Supreme Court Justice
3. Chief Judge
4. Federal Court Judge
SECTION III. PREVENTING FOREIGN INFLUENCE ON THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE OF FIRESTONE.
- No foreign leader shall hold a civil office in the State of Firestone defined by the Civil Office Definition Act of 2018.
SECTION IV. PREVENTING FOREIGN INFLUENCE ON THE PARTY SYSTEM OF THE STATE OF FIRESTONE.
- No foreign leader shall hold a leading position in a party of the State of Firestone that holds seats in Congress.
SECTION IV. PROHIBITION
- Any foreign office that shall fall under this act must be declared by Congress.
- The Attorney General has the authority to pursue individuals or current incumbents in the District Court for violations of this act to ensure its enforcement.
