No, but optimization for V3 will and itā€™s a small start.

hi again everyone,

this more ties in with the previous few posts about v3 and transparency

The FS dev board is public, and so is the QA board. They can be found here

now, assuming these are current (at least the dev team board seems to beā€¦ passively in use?) the last finished activity for v3 was in June (at least, fed marking the activity as done)

if this board is truly representative of the development teamā€™s work on v3, my question is

ā€œwhat the fuck have you been doing dudes?ā€

For the QA board? last thing added to that was in late 2023

If this isnā€™t representative of the dev teamā€™s effort over the past few months, maybe you shouldā€¦ change that

because right now it looks like your sitting still and looking pretty gang

not a great look

thanks <3

yea not a good look

Out of date. Operations have been moved to clickup

QA is now handled with internal channela in our developer discord.

Can you send the new link?

More owner events, it gets people into the game and itā€™s fun to have live news reports and update the wiki. For example Alien Crisis, 2024 Arborfield Chemical Incident, Hillview Bike Path Bridge Collapse, or the 2024 Redwood Attacks, and having the owners calling in units. Wars are also fun, for example the Town Rebellion was fun, especially the random attacks. Probably the most fun war was the Amherst Crises and war probably the largest Ro-state war. Itā€™s cool when itā€™s an anti-terror operations with a clear victory. Firestone could have a civil war, or a rebellion. Just something to get people involved.

More civilian jobs and things to do besides crime, social media promotion

More regular civilians. Majority of people are either criminals or a department, and that starts to cause that Mano County style gameplay. We need more people who are do (primarily) civilian jobs or something like that. Firestone is better than 99% of others donā€™t get me wrong, but I personally have noticed a slow devolvement towards a cops/robbers style thing. We need more regular civilians and RP stuff to do.

My only suggestion that I can think of to this point is for departments to be given a member cap and/or have them recruit less often. So that not everyone always has somewhere to go.
I realize now this might not help with activity, but it would certainly help with quality of RP and in turn, very likely help the activity

Holy shit

Antador with the big brain suggestion

I see your point but I think if depts hired less often, it would just drive people away who want to join depts. Cops and robbers is very much what attracts most new players to ro-states
