Firearm Restricted Area Act

PREAMBLE:

Amends the Firestone Criminal Code of Chapter 5 Firearm Crimes to add the prohibition of entering government buildings or grounds to impose criminal penalties on anyone who knowingly enters any firearm restricted building or grounds without lawfully defending themselves and or others. Defines firearm restricted buildings and grounds.

It be enacted that the State of Firestone Congress assembled that,

SECTION I.

a). To be remarked as, “Restricted Firearm Area Act”.

b). To serve the purpose of updating areas or zones where firearms shall not be allowed to be carried on an individual’s person.

SECTION II.

a). The term “firearm restricted building or grounds” means any posted, cordoned off, or stated designated area.

b). Firearm restricted buildings or grounds are designated as;

  1. Once entering the Firestone State Patrol Building, and or its fenced Helipad Area.
  2. Once entering the Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office Building.
  3. Once entering the Stapleton County Fire Department Building, and Apparatus Quarters.
  4. Once entering the Firestone Department of State Building.
  5. Once entering the Stapleton County Hall.
  6. Once entering the Stapleton County Medical Center Building.
  7. Once entering the Arborfield/Prominence Regional Airport Building.
  8. Once entering the property lines of the Department of Transportation’s Respective Area.
  9. Once entering the property lines of the Department of Public Works Respective Area.
  10. Once entering the Department of Boating and Waterways Building.

c). The term “Government Firearm Restricted buildings or grounds” mean any posted, cordoned off, or stated designated area which poses a great significance to the State’s Government and Security.”

d). Government Firearm Restricted Buildings or grounds are designated as;

  1. Once entering the Firestone Bureau of Investigations Building.
  2. Once entering the Department of State Building.
  3. Once entering the Department of Homeland Security Building.
  4. Once getting past the front gate at the Founder’s Residence.

e). “Carrying a Firearm within Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds” is defined as; “the act of carrying a firearm within a restricted building or ground which prohibits firearms whether visible or concealed. And are not lawfully defending themselves.”

f). “Carrying a Firearm within a Government Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds” is defined as; “the act of carrying a firearm within a government building or government grounds which prohibits firearms whether visible or concealed. And are not lawfully defending themselves.”

g). The Firestone Criminal Code shall be defined as Trello

h). The term “off-duty” is defined as, “any employee of a government or county organization that is on the civilian team.”

i). The term “Firearm” is defined as, “any weapon which will or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive”,

SECTION III.

a). Carrying a Firearm within Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds shall be an unlawful criminal offense in the State of Firestone.

a1). “Carrying a Firearm within Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds” is defined as; “the act of carrying a firearm within a restricted building or ground which prohibits firearms whether visible or concealed. And are not lawfully defending themselves. ”

a2). Carrying a Firearm within Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds is a misdemeanor offense, punishable with a jail time amount of 350 seconds.

a3). “Carrying a Firearm within Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds” shall fall under “Chapter 5 - Firearm Crimes” within the Firestone Criminal Code.

SECTION IV.

a). Carrying a Firearm within a Government Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds shall be an unlawful criminal offense in the State of Firestone.

a1). “Carrying a Firearm within a Government Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds” is defined as; “the act of carrying a firearm within a government building or government grounds which prohibits firearms whether visible or concealed. And are not lawfully defending themselves. ”

a2). Carrying a Firearm within a Government Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds is a felony offense, punishable with a jail time amount of 650 seconds.

a3). “Carrying a Firearm within a Government Firearm Restricted Building or Grounds” shall fall under “Chapter 5 - Firearm Crimes” within the Firestone Criminal Code.

SECTION V.

a). On-duty Law Enforcement Officers within the agencies listed below are exempt from Firearm Restricted Areas, whether Government Restricted or Firearm Restricted, in order to execute their lawful duties. Agencies listed below;

(i). Department of Homeland Security

(ii). Firestone National Guard

(iii). Firestone State Patrol

(iv). Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office

(v.) Firestone Bureau of Investigation

(vi). Department of Corrections

b). Off-Duty Law Enforcement Officers are not exempt from Firearm Restricted Buildings or Grounds, and as well Government Firearm Restricted Buildings or Grounds, as they’re not executing their lawful duty, in order to be exempt; they must be on-team.

c). This does not extend to any Congressperson, Clerks of Congress and Courts, Justices of the Supreme and District Court, members of the Cabinet and Subcabinet, and or any other individual that holds an elected or appointed office on the civilian team.

SECTION VI.

a). The Major General and the Brigadier General of the Firestone National Guard may authorize individuals located on this board ( Trello ) to be allowed to carry legal firearms within the limits of the National Guard Base if they’re placed under a list that is called, “Authorized to Carry” within the respective zones.

b). The Governor of the State of Firestone, and the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Firestone, is able to exempt 1 (one) civilian with a valid “Concealed Firearm License” from the Government Restricted Firearm Building/Grounds of only the Governor’s Manor only when the Governor and Lieutenant Governor are in-game and at the Manor. If both are in-game, then 2 (two) may be exempt with a valid Concealed Firearm License.

c). The Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Firestone may only carry their legal firearm while at the Governor’s Manor, they’re not exempt from other firearm and government firearm restricted building or grounds.

SECTION VII.

a). Chapter 5, Section 2 of “An Amendment to the UCFA” shall be declared null and void, and states;

" “No individual may bring a firearm onto private property with labeled signs forbidding it (excluding law enforcement in the execution on their duties), nor shall they be permitted to bring a firearm onto government property unless permitted to by the policy of that property’s respective agency (employees of that agency shall need no policy to do so if it is a law enforcement agency). This shall be Possessing a Firearm on Restricted Property shall be a misdemeanor, and be punishable by 200 seconds in prison in game; upon conviction in court, the punishment shall be at the discretion of the sitting judge. However, should an individual violate this section, and while on the property commit a crime, or have the intent to do so, Possessing a Firearm on Restricted Property shall be a felony, and punishable by 350 seconds in jail in game; upon conviction in court, the punishment shall be at the discretion of the sitting judge." "

SECTION VIII.

a). Once this act is passed, the Firestone Criminal Code, Chapter 5, shall be updated with the unlawful criminal acts in this legislation.

b). Should any part of this act be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect, unless all is struck down or declared unconstitutional.
