Fire and EMS Protection Act of 2019

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE STATE LEGISLATURE HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1:
“Fire/EMS Personnel” shall be defined as a member of any recognized Fire or EMS service in the State of Firestone who are in performance of their duties.

SECTION 2A:
“Obstruction of Fire/EMS Personnel“ shall be defined as intentionally causing mischief or duress around Fire/EMS Personnel, preventing them from performing their duties.

SECTION 2B:
Obstruction of Fire/EMS Personnel shall be a misdemeanor the first offense, punishable by one-hundred (100) to two-hundred (200) seconds in state penitentiary. The second or higher offense will be a felony, punishable by one-hundred-fifty (150) to three-hundred (300) seconds in state penitentiary.

SECTION 3:
“Recognizing Crimes against the Fire Department” (Recognizing Crimes against the Fire Department) shall be declared null and void.

SECTION 4:
This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passing both chambers of Congress and being signed into law by the Governor.
