IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF FIRESTONE

February 20, 2019

AN ACT

To To Re-Establish The Department of Boating And Waterways

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress Assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; REFERENCES IN ACT; EFFECTIVE DATE

  1. Short Title — This Act may be cited as the “DOBW Re-Establishment Act”.
  2. References in Act — Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, wherever an amendment or repeal is expressed in terms of an amendment to or repeal of a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be made to that section.
  3. Effective Date — This Act shall be enacted as soon as its passage from both chambers of Congress.

SECTION 2. SENSE OF CONGRESS

It is in the sense of Congress that—

  1. There is no regulating bodies of boating and waterways within the State of Firestone.

SECTION 3. DEFINITIONS; SHORTHAND

  1. The Firestone Department of Boating and Waterways shall be defined as; Firestone Department of Boating and Waterways - Roblox
  2. In this act, the shorthand of the Department of Boating and Waterways shall be “DoBW.”

SECTION 4. DOBW RE-ESTABLISHMENT

  1. The abolishment of the Department of Boating and Waterways shall be declared null and void; A Referendum to Abolish the Department of Boating and Waterways
  2. The original establishment of the Department of Boating and Waterways shall be declared null and void; A Bill to Establish the Department of Boating and Waterways
  3. The Department of Boating and Waterways shall be re-established.
  4. The DoBW shall be responsible for managing all maritime activities within the State of Firestone. An example of maritime activities are fishing, boating, etc.
  5. The DoBW shall have control over all bodies of water within the State of Firestone.
  6. The DoBW shall have the responsibility of approving or disapproving waterway projects, events, and other activities involving the bodies of water within the State of Firestone.
  7. The DoBW shall have the responsibility of managing boating and its procedures within the State of Firestone.
  8. The DoBW shall have the responsibility of establishing regulations when operating a boat or any other means of transportation over the waterways.
  9. Any divisions of other departments related to maritime shall be entitled to follow any regulations set by the DoBW.

SECTION 5. STAFFING

  1. The Secretary of the Department of Boating and Waterways shall be responsible in establishing its rules and regulations and enforcing them, in accordance to this legislation.
  2. The Department of Boating and Waterways shall be considered a minor department and any non-cabinet level jobs shall be considered as a secondary job. The Deputy Secretary shall be considered as a secondary job.

SECTION 5. OVERSIGHT AND ENFORCEMENT

  1. This legislation shall be overseen by the Office of the Governor.
