I say we make a script that connects everytime a player respawns. if they’re wearing a department OUV (LE only) then they get like a boosted health or a faster recovery. OUV’s great for looks and the feel of realism I guess but when it comes down to it it’s a waste of money …

I understand this may be fun, realistic, and helpful for the officers, but we probably won’t be adding it in order to keep the game balanced. We are trying to make this a fun RP for other players outside of LE groups (or any group) as well. Giving officers this would make it unfair.
Maybe give crims the option to get illegal armour or something.
the problem with this is that criminals would have to buy the vests (therefore they would use it less often), but LEOs get the for free every time they spawn.
the devs have discussed this and we might implement it one day with some conditions
