Criminal Code Act Chapters 4-5

Chapter 4: Latency
§1.
(a): Penalizations listed shall only apply to law enforcement. Judicial Officials shall be permitted to issue any constitutionally permitted sentences based on their discretion alone. Convictions shall not in any circumstances be limited by the times listed for any offense, unless explicitly dictated.
(1): Judicial Officials shall be permitted to sentence a defendant to any punishment so determined to be lawful and constitutional.

(b): A dash in penalization shall serve as a ‘up to’- meaning, “250-350 seconds in prison” shall be understood to mean a minimum of 250 seconds and a maximum of 350 seconds in prison.

§ 2. The CPAC shall be required to create, maintain and update a medium (such as a Trello or a spreadsheet) of all current criminal and traffic offenses within the State of Firestone- their class, and their punishment. The CPAC shall have seven (7) calendar days within the passage of this act to create such a medium.

§ 3. Any entity granted the power to arrest or the power to issue citations shall enforce this code within their respective jurisdictions.
(a): The Department of Justice, District Attorney, and the judges of each of the state circuits shall also be permitted to enforce this code.
(1): The Department of Justice and the District Attorney (or their designee) shall only be permitted to enforce this code by filing criminal complaints as defined by Rule 2 of the General Rules of Procedure.
(2): The judges of each of the state circuits shall only be permitted to enforce this code when issuing warrants, handing down sentences, and presiding over judicial proceedings.

Chapter 5: Provisions & Procedure

§ 1. Any entity granted the power to arrest or the power to issue citations shall enforce this code within their respective jurisdictions.

§ 2. If any part of this legislation is amended or otherwise nullified the rest shall retain amiability- unless the entirety of this legislation is nullified.

§ 3. This legislation shall go into effect upon its passage per constitutional guidelines.
