Congress Elections - # of Candidates

I’ve noticed that both in this election and in previous elections, Senate seems to have a pretty good amount of candidates, while the House runs short. This is interesting to me. Personally, I see Senate as a near-equivalent to House (as far as FS is concerned). The only real difference is that the Senate is typically compromised of more experienced individuals. Since Senate is known for this, people usually gravitate toward running for Senate before considering being a Representative or being a Representative.

Thoughts?

Personally I started in the county as county council. Went to house (where most people went) and now I am in the Senate

I find it a bit weird. House is great for newcomers (such as myself), and I therefore recommend everyone to go for House before Senate.

idk about others but personally ive always felt like the senate is just a higher quality chamber because of how it is in real life

even though i know the difference between the senate and house in firestone is completely different than the real life difference its just a subconscious thing for me i guess

Why do you say that? I didn’t see any difference between Senate/HoR in my term as Senate.

Senate is subconsciously looked at as better due to real life.

US senators were initially appointed by their state legislatures. since the progressive era, however, US senators have been elected per the 17th amendment
