INTRODUCTION
Hello to the State of Firestone! My name is AsianImpression and I am declaring my candidacy for the Firestone House of Representatives.
ABOUT ME
I joined the State of Firestone quite a long time ago, but never permanently stayed due to confusion with politics and the legal process. I was quite young at the time and did not really understand what I was supposed to be doing. However, after a few years, I have familiarized myself with Firestone law and matured enough to handle politics. However, before I rejoined Firestone, I was employed as a law enforcement officer in the State of Mayflower for quite a while. I am not promising anything, but I will promise to you, the people, that I will execute my duties and the duties of my office to the fullest extent within the confines of the law. I do hope to stay with the community here in Firestone for quite a while, and I hope you will support my candidacy for the House of Representatives.
EXPERIENCE
My experience with politics is not big nor has it been positive. The only REAL political position I ever had was the Office of the County Executive, in New Haven County. As a law enforcement officer in both states, I have tried best to steer my duties away from politics as best as I can, but sometimes law enforcement does get tangled in with politics since I am enforcing political decisions. It is time I have come to accept that, and the time has come for me to make new decisions, for the best of the people. I have failed my community in New Haven County when I resigned from the Office of the County Executive. This is where I triumph over my failure. This is my redemption. Where I have failed, I learn and I gain experience. I hope you all understand that.
PLANS
I will now proceed to lay out my plans for this term (DISCLAIMER: Not all plans here have been addressed, but here are some of them):
- A bill defining Self Endangerment and Prevention, a person should not be in a position where they could cause serious bodily harm to themselves because of their negligence. Doing so will cause serious injury or death to yourself, and will waste the resources given to our various emergency services.
- Reach out to prominent community figures in an attempt to find out what our community needs.
- Participate more in community events alongside the public.
These are just a few ideas I have in mind, I cannot guarantee you there will be more, but I will guarantee you that I will try my best.
ELECT ME? WHY?
I believe the people who elect others into offices that serve them, should keep them safe, happy, and listen to their ideas. After all, representatives should live up to their namesake, and REPRESENT people. Remember this, if you decide to support me and elect me into office, I WILL represent you, I WILL listen to you, and I WILL have this as my main focus because I WILL be your representative if you do choose to elect me to be your REPRESENTATIVE. So, let’s make ourselves a new haven, a safe place for all, together. Let’s make our community as best as possible.
