Be it enacted by the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

-
The House of Representatives shall be defined here.
-
The Firestone Constitution shall be defined here.
-
Article I, Section II “The House of Representatives” of the Firestone Constitution shall be defined here.
-

-
The Attorney Code of Conduct shall be defined here.
-
“Speaker Election” also known specifically as the “#soth-election-16” channel shall be defined here.
§3. PURPOSE
- The purpose of this resolution is to preserve the integrity and uphold the standards of the office of Speaker Pro Tempore, as well as the ethical obligations expected of all House Representatives. It reflects the House’s loss of confidence in Speaker Pro Tempore Legaalsp’s ability to ethically fulfill his duties and undermine his role as a representative of this body.
§4. RESULTS OF BLEE INVESTIGATION
-
On November 11, 2024, the Speaker Pro Tempore, Representative Legaalsp, was inconclusively investigated by the Board of Legal Ethics and Enforcement (BLEE) regarding alleged violations of §3.2, §3.10, and §3.14 of the Attorney Code of Conduct.
-
Following this inconclusive investigation, an additional investigation was executed concerning alleged breaches of §2.1, §2.2, and §2.9 of the Attorney Code of Conduct.
-
This investigation concluded that Representative Legaalsp had violated §2.1, §2.2, and §2.8 of the Attorney Code of Conduct, determining that his actions and conduct were ‘incompatible with the truth,” and that he exhibited a “persistent insistence on the validity of these statements in the face of overwhelming contradictory evidence,” motivated by an intent to evade sanctions or penalties.
-
BLEE further stated that Representative Legaalsp’s actions and statements were deemed prejudicial and contrary to the principles expected of his office and the Attorney Code of Conduct.
§5. CONDUCT IN THE HOUSE
- Representative Legaalsp has demonstrated a repeated pattern of misconduct within the House of Representatives, displaying a complete disregard for decorum, particularly during the recent Speaker Election, as well as within official House communication channels. His actions have incited unnecessary conflict and division without the chamber through derogatory, unprofessional, and slanderous remarks directed at fellow Representatives. Such conduct is inconsistent with the standards of decorum, respect, and order expected within the House.
- While not solely responsible for such division and conflict within the House itself, Representative Legaalsp’s conduct significantly contributed to the disruption and division within the House of Representatives.
§5. REMOVAL FROM OFFICE
- In accordance with Article I, Section II, Subsection V, of the Firestone Constitution, Representative Legaalsp shall be removed from the office of Speaker Pro Tempore.
§7. ENFORCEMENT
- This Act shall be enforced by all relevant parties.
§8. SEVERABILITY
- Should any part of this act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, the rest of the act will remain in effect unless also struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
