AN AMENDMENT
to the Legislative Article to Annex Section XXI

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE LEGISLATURE HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Sec. 1.

(a) Section XXI of the Legislative Article (Article I) of the Firestone Constitution shall hereby be annexed and state:

  • “A legislative term shall commence subsequently after the general election of the Senate and House of Representatives. The preceding legislature shall hold their respective offices until the succeeding legislature is duly elected. Each house shall be obligated to conduct official business at least six (6) days every month.”

Sec. 2.

(a) Upon the passage of both houses of the state legislature–the Senate and House of Representatives–this amendment shall be annexed and effective immediately.
