An Amendment to the General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts Revision Act

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS THAT

PREAMBLE: Currently, an oversight in our rules of procedure allows for a party to continuously recall a witness to the stand, thus allowing them an indefinite amount of time to perfect and direct said witness during a trial.

SECTION 1: The General Rules of Procedure shall be defined as: General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts Revision Act Part 1 and General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts Revision Act Part 2

SECTION 2: Section 5; Rule 5; Subsection m shall be created and shall state:
No witness, after taking the stand, shall be recalled by the same party unless under exceptional circumstances, as to be determined by the presiding officer.

SECTION 3: This legislation shall go into effect upon meeting the constitutional requirements to become law.
