An Amendment to C.V.IV

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

AN AMENDMENT TO C.V.IV

SECTION 1B: Article V Section IV of the Constitution currently states: “Government property consists of all land unowned by a private entity or dedicated to public use, including but not limited to, the Firestone State Capitol building, The Governor’s Mansion, The Founder’s Residence, The State Penitentiary, the Firestone National Guard Base, and any department headquarters/facility. Any other place designated as government property by the legislature shall also apply under this section. Citizens are free to access government property unless otherwise restricted by law. Citizens may only enter government properties such as the Capitol building, Governor’s Mansion, and the Founder’s residence with authorization from the Department of Homeland Security. Other government properties may be entered with permission from their relevant agency. Citizens entering government property are subject to security checks including a search, and possible seizure of any contraband that may threaten the property or its staff/residents.”

SECTION 2: Article V Section IV of the Constitution shall now states: “Government property consists of all land unowned by a private entity or dedicated to public use, including but not limited to, the Firestone State Capitol building, The Governor’s Mansion, The Founder’s Residence, The State Penitentiary, the Firestone National Guard Base, Official Government Branch Discords and any department headquarters/facility. Any other place designated as government property by the legislature shall also apply under this section. Citizens are free to access government property unless otherwise restricted by law. Citizens may only enter government properties such as the Capitol building, Governor’s Mansion, and the Founder’s residence with authorization from the Department of Homeland Security. Other government properties may be entered with permission from their relevant agency. Citizens entering government property are subject to security checks including a search, and possible seizure of any contraband that may threaten the property or its staff/residents. The state shall not have authority to delegate how properties specifically set aside for other branches may be used nor may these be distributed to private citizens. The respective imcumbent branch head of each branch may set reasonable policies on how their property may be used, and so long as all other constitutional obligations are met, may remove people from said property. For these purposes, ‘constitutional’ shall be considered as the constitution and bill of rights collectively.

SECTION 3: Upon passage of this legislation, immediate effect shall commence.
