A Joint Resolution to Re-Define the CPAC (Congressional Public Advisory Committee)

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION I: This legislation shall be declared null and void: Trello

SECTION II: The Congressional Public Advisory Committee (CPAC) shall be established.

SECTION III: The Congressional Public Advisory Committee shall be led by a member of Congress elected by the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House. If the aforementioned individuals cannot come to a consensus as to who shall lead the committee, the two individuals shall serve as co-chairpersons and lead the committee themselves. The chairperson(s) may consensually appoint and/or remove any person(s) they so wish from/into the CPAC at their discretion. This may be overridden by joint resolution.

SECTION IV: The CPAC shall be charged with managing and overseeing all public relations activities of the Legislature- including, the release of sessional bulletins, activity on legislation, and more, as prescribed by the CPAC.

SECTION V: The Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House, when in consensus, shall hold the power to override any action committed by the CPAC.
