BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Preamble: This legislation will establish a Joint Investigation Committee. The JIC will pretty much take the place of the HIC and form it between both congressional chambers.
I: The Joint Investigation Committee shall hereby be established.
II: The Joint Investigation Committee shall be defined as: The committee that conducts investigations upon both congressional chamber members upon suspicion. The committee shall consist of one (1) Chairman, one (1) Vice-Chairman, and six (6) Members, three from each chamber excluding the committee heads. With advice from both chambers, the two heads shall be appointed by their fellow representatives/senators and confirmed by a joint vote.
III: This legislation shall be enforced by the Speaker of the House and the Lieutenant Governor.
IV: This Legislation shall be implemented and effective immediately after passage. Respectfully Submitted to the State of Firestone Congress,
