A Joint Resolution to Establish Readings

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Preamble:

The Firestone State Legislature has had many legislative pieces in the past that were proposed and
failed then the same ones that failed proposed again countless times in the past with no official limit
to how many times you can propose at a time. This went on to cause confusion on how many times
you’d be able to present a certain legislative piece after it has failed. This resolution shall make sure that
there is a limit to the amount of times you can again propose a legislative piece after it has failed.

Section 1: This resolution will limit the amount of times you shall be authorized to propose a
legislative piece after it has failed a certain amount of times and will set a time to when you can
propose that piece again after it has failed a certain amount of times.

Section 1A: Legislative Pieces shall be defined as a bill, amendment, and resolution.

Section 1B: Readings shall be defined as the amount of times you may propose a certain legislative
piece after it has failed.

Section 2: The Firestone House of Representatives and Senate shall have a maximum of three
readings for all legislative pieces proposed in their respective chambers.
