A Bill to Recognize Animal Cruelty and K9's

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE LEGISLATURE THAT

PREAMBLE: Currently as it stands, animals (more specifically K9’s used by DHS) are not protected under any laws. It’s been proven that animals do in fact take damage in game. This proposal comes as a result of being asked by FPS Agents who see their K9’s getting assaulted when patrolling. K9’s are also not currently recognized under the Obstruction of Justice charge. Seeing as how K9’s work as an extension of an LEO in the pursuit of criminals I think it justified that they are recognized under Obstruction of Justice.
