A Bill to Protect Escorts

Be it enacted by the State of Firestone Congress here assembled that:

Section 1: Obstructing a Department of Homeland Security escort shall be deemed illegal.

Section 1B: Obstructing A DHS Escort shall be defined as; non-violently interrupting an active escort. This can be via blocking the main road lanes, trying to distract staff, or blocking the escort itself via one’s body. It shall be deemed a misdemeanor.

Section 1C: Obstructing a DHS Escort shall be punished by 100-250 seconds in jail. Upon the officer’s discretion, the minimum sentence may be decreased, but the maximum sentence shall not be exceeded.

Section 1D: Escort shall be defined as; the Department of Homeland Security transporting, housing, or protecting a government official as recognized by law and DHS policy.

Section 2: Endangering a Government Official shall be deemed illegal.

Section 2B: Endangering a Government Official shall be defined as; trying to stop or attack an active DHS escort with violence (such as ramming, shooting at, or otherwise trying to harm an escort). It shall be deemed a felony.

Section 2C: Endangering a Government Official shall be punished by 300-500 seconds in jail. Upon the officer’s discretion, the minimum sentence may be decreased, but the maximum sentence shall not be exceeded.

Section 3: All sentencing involving a court conviction shall be at the discretion of the presiding judge.

Section 4: The following agencies shall be tasked with enforcing this act; the Firestone Department of Homeland Security (Firestone Department of Homeland Security - Roblox), the Firestone Department of Justice (Firestone Department of Justice - Roblox), and the Firestone Courts (Firestone Courts - Roblox).

Section 5: This law shall go into effect immediately upon being signed into law by the Governor.

Section 6: All laws in conflict with this are rendered null and void.
