A Bill to Identification Presenting

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Section 1: This legislation shall explain when an individual is required to present their
identification to a law enforcement personnel. Failure to present identification shall be
considered as a misdemeanor.

Section 2: All Individuals shall be required to present their identification to a law enforcement
personnel who has probable cause of a particular individual who has broken a law. Example: A
law enforcement officer asks an individual to present their identification since that individual ran
a stop sign and that law enforcement officer has probable cause of the individual who ran the
stop sign.

Section 2A: An individual who fails to present their identification to a law enforcement officer
shall be considered as failing to comply and shall be considered as an arrestable offense since
that the law enforcement officer has probable cause of that individual committing a wrong doing.

Section 2B: In the instance of when a subject is detained for investigation purposes then that
individual will be required to present their identification to their detainer.

Section 2C: The following shall state punishments that shall be given if someone fails to present
their identification to a law enforcement officer:

Section 2C.1: First Offense (Jail Time: 100-200)

Section 2C.2: Second Offense (Jail Time: 200-300)

Section 2C.3: Third Offense (Jail Time: 300-400)

Section 2C.4: Four or More Offenses (Jail Time: 500-600)

Section 3: The following shall state the departments that will enforce this legislation:

Section 3A.1: The Firestone State Patrol:

Section 3A.2: The Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office:

Section 3A.3: Department of Homeland Security:

Section 3A.4: The Department of Corrections:

Section 4: This legislation shall go into effect immediately once it passes both chambers and is
signed into law by the Governor.

Section 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
