BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedures in the State Courts shall be amended.

SECTION 2: Rule 11 Section C currently states, A judge shall not preside over a matter which involves a department, agency, or other business entity in which him/herself is currently employed or in which they (the judge) has not been separated from for more than three months time.

SECTION 2A: Rule 11 Section C shall now state; A judge shall not preside over a matter which involves a department, agency, or other business entity in which him/herself is currently employed or in which they (the judge) has not been separated from for more than three months time. This shall not include criminal cases which are prosecuted by the Department of Justice, nor shall it include any member of the courts itself.

SECTION 3: Upon passage from both chambers of congress and signed by Governor, this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
