BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE LEGISLATURE THAT
PREAMBLE: Fixes a mistake in the wording of the GRP.
SECTION A: The ‘GRP’ shall be defined as: General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts Revision Act Part 1 and General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts Revision Act Part 2
SECTION B: Section 5, Rule 11, Subsection a of the GRP, currently states, “No judge may not be a witness or party to a matter that they are presiding over.”
SECTION C: Section 5, Rule 11, Subsection a of the GRP, shall be amended to state, “Judges may not be a witness or party to a matter that they are presiding over.”
SECTION D: This legislation shall go into effect immediately after completing the constitutional procedures.
